Final Fantasy 12.net is back
As long time readers will have noticed, this FF12 site has been long abandoned, mainly due to the news system on the old site being so useless and uninspiring. Thus, we’ve updated to Wordpress like most of our other network sites and intend to make Final Fantasy 12 one of the best FFXII sites on the net once more.
Please don’t be afraid to contact us with any questions or suggestions; the comments system on this website will make that so much easier than on our old website.
That’s all for now, we’re going to be adding tons of information for now… Hope you enjoy the change!

Old News
This post is to display the old FF12 news we had on our old site. Purely for archival purposes.
Here it is:
Final Fantasy 12 Release Date!
It’s not brand new information that the Japanese release date of Final Fantasy 12 / XII is set as the 16th of next month (March), but we thought we’d attempt to whip up a frenzy of excitement by reminding everyone that:
FINAL FANTASY XII IS AVAILABLE IN JAPAN IN JUST OVER A MONTH!
‘And any Final Fantasy Net / FinalFantasy12.net reader will know it’s not like me to break my grammatical frameset by using all capital letters. That’s how excited I am about the impending FFXII release.

Final Fantasy 12 info
To go along with the games near release, Sony have revealed they’re going to be releasing a special FF12 PlayStation 2 bundle; features are said to include a cell phone strap, a special marking on the PS2, and (in FFNet’s opinion, most excitingly) the special PS2 stand.
Goodness me. Much as I do love Square Enix for all they have done for RPGs and video games generally, this company sure knows how to bleed it’s support of their money.
That’s not all, though. There’s also a wireless controller sweetly titled the ‘Cordless Compact Controller Final Fantasy XII Version’. How could one think of playing FF12 without the official wireless controller? Shame on you!

Kingdom Hearts 3!
As was posted on Advent Children, our new network site, Kingdom Hearts 3 is now open to the public. We would love you all to pay a visit even though there’s not yet much to see.
There’ll be plenty of KH3 news and info available as soon as it arrives.

Final Fantasy XII Demo
The highly anticipated Final Fantasy XII playable demo is set to coincide with the release of another Square-Enix RPG, Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.
A sinister plot to get people to buy Dragon Quest VIII? Possibly. Do we care? Not really. We cannot wait!
November 22nd, 2005 is the proposed release date of Dragon Quest VIII — not to be missed!

Final Fantasy XII release date!
Final Fantasy XII will be released on 16th of March, 2006 - in Japan only! There will be a European and American release, that’s for sure, but when this’ll happen is still a mystery. It’s likely it may not be out until Summer 2006 in America, and possibly a Christmas release in Europe. We await news with baited breath!

Our first affiliate
We have a new affiliate, RPG Apex. They’re a very nicely designed site with some interesting content related to the latter Final Fantasy games (XII included) and some other RPGs also.

Square-Enix site
Just a quick post to say that Square-Enix have changed the layout of their official site completely, and are now seemingly much more geared towards a cohesive design, rather than a plethora of random sites tagged loosely together.
The URL remains the same: Square-Enix.com.
